About SEO100

SEO100 is a free directory of 100 SEO methods, run by Fe/male Switch, a startup school and game that helps founders build real companies. We wrote it for founders and small teams who do their own SEO and need clear steps instead of jargon.

Where did the 100 methods come from?

Fe/male Switch ran two lists: SEO100 with 100 methods and a second "SEO200" list. Many entries overlapped ("Core Web Vitals optimization" appeared twice), some were filler, and a few repeated advice Google has rejected. In 2026 we merged both lists into this site, kept one page per real method, and labelled popular myths as Myth check pages that explain what to do instead. How do we check the facts?

• Every method is checked against the official documentation: Google Search Central, Bing Webmaster guidelines, and the published crawler and search documentation of OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity.
• When Google changes something (for example the end of FAQ rich results in May 2026, or the AI search guide published the same month), we update the affected pages and change the "Updated" date. We never change a date without changing the content.
• Each page lists its sources, so you can check them yourself.

Why does Fe/male Switch publish this?

Founders without an ads budget depend on search, communities and word of mouth for their first customers. SEO100 is the reference we wanted for them.
